Kelley Ramsey has lived the story of infertility while journeying with thousands of women and couples in the past 10 years. She has experienced 22 years of chronic pain, years of infertility, three miscarriages, a cancer scare, a delivery with severe hematoma complications, a house fire, and brain surgery. Early in their journey Kelley and her husband, Justin, followed the Lord's prompting to share their story on a blog and start a local support group at their church. Waiting in Hope Ministries was born out of this desire to bring deeply rooted support to women and couples by proclaiming the message that Jesus is our hope.
Kelley lives a full life between directing Waiting in Hope Ministries and finding joy in the chaos of motherhood. She and Justin stay busy chasing their two active boys who pray for an adopted baby sister. They live with their labrador, Jewel, in their beloved community of The Woodlands, Texas. When they aren't riding bikes or trying not to get lost on the trails, Kelley and her family enjoy relaxing with dear friends and neighbors in their happy place on the lake.
Jennifer Hesse knows the depths of longing for a child. She and her husband, Colin, endured several years of treatments, surgeries, and a failed IVF cycle before welcoming their first son through a "stork drop" adoption and second son via surprise pregnancy. In 2021 she gave birth to their third son, another surprise from the Lord.
While wrestling with her own grief, Jenn saw a need for women to find support as they faced the unique struggles of infertility. She co-founded a local support group at her church, then launched a second group when she and her husband moved to another state. After the Lord connected her and Kelley on social media, Jenn began serving as content director at Waiting in Hope Ministries, where she writes blog posts, develops social media content, and collaborates with a team of contributors.
She and her family enjoy their home in Willamette Valley, Oregon. When they're not swimming, exploring parks, or cheering for the Seahawks, Jenn's family plays board games and racks up late fees at the library.
