As I was thinking about this month, one question kept coming to mind: How are you doing?
It's easy to spend so much time caring for others that we neglect our own hearts. I know I've been there. Between youth ministry, family life, and everything else on the calendar, I have to remind myself that God isn't just interested in what I accomplish for Him—He wants me to spend time with Him, too.
As you continue leading your church this fall, I hope you're finding small moments to be refreshed by God's presence. Those quiet moments in Scripture and prayer often become the strength we need for everything else.
